Enviro-Tech Surveys has specialized in providing mapping and support services for 3-D and 2-D seismic surveys since 1987. Comprehensive mapping and a full complement of survey support has proven to lower "Front-End" costs and streamline the whole geophysical acquisition process.

Digital Mapping &GIS applications

Generate 3-D grid plots on the 1:20 000 digital base (shows hydrography, terrain, and cadastre in extensive detail. Integrate parcel mapping files into the 3-D base map for creating accurate and dependable "exclusion zones" (also enable design changes to 3-D without going to the field). Produce specialized 3-D grid plots for permit agents, drillers, and recording crews with highlighting of sensitive permits and of areas of special concern.

Exclusion zones created from GPS surveys for houses, water wells, low pressure gas lines, etc. (expedites entire geophysical operation and greatly reduces cost)

Create digital photo mosaics from the most recent aerial photography in the "green area" to facilitate 3-D design and modelling as well as mapping for government approvals.

Transform data files into numerous formats using Safe's FME engine as used in various GIS platforms to other platforms.

Show surficial geology maps with respect to seismic prospect locations which will help in determining seismic design.

Field Design for 3-D's

Design and model 3-D seismic surveys using Omni - the most current field design software available.

Model fold coverage for areas where there are obstructions (lakes, pipelines, wells, terrain, etc.) in conjunction with the digital base maps.

Create shooting script files for recording crews.

Survey Control

Complete survey package of government-published survey control and related information supplied for all jobs.

NAD 27 and NAD 83 values supplied for all primary control to enable proper transformations between both datums.

Current ATS file (cadastral values) supplied to field crews to enable accurate and correct line placement and precise ties.

Complete vertical control supplied for all areas in Western Canada.

All surveys put into Enviro-Tech's digital database to complement future work in that area (and reduce costs).
