As with many international projects, a problem arose when working with existing maps in Morocco. Some parameters were not available for the projections and datums used when the original projects were mapped. After intensive research utilizing university resources and corresponding with Morocco officials in both English and French, parameters were found to satisfy the geodetic questions at hand. Then several mapping projects were undertaken to map proposed survey prospects in the region. After the surveys were completed, final asbuilt maps were also built. Some mapping was also performed in order to assist in the scouting of the jobs.
