Several major 3-D projects were completed in Mid-Ohio recently for two different clients in fairly populated areas. This was a challenging survey due to the large population in the area. Public relations between the field personnel and the landowners was the major key to a successful operation during this campaign. All obstacles to either layout or shot hole drilling were surveyed using GPS and then mapped to show their effect on coverage and operations. Fine tuning was then done to ensure the best possible data was obtained in a congested area while adhering to geophysical regulations and landowner concerns.
